    Cuban Salsa

    A fast tempo salsa with a strong afro-cuban influence

    Cuban Salsa is designed for couples and includes smooth, slow movements as you move around your partner in endless circles. The footwork is simple, but the hip movements are accentuated due to the driving motion of the knees. It is typically danced to Cuban or Timban music that allows the dancers to incorporate the Afro-Cuban dance movements.

    Bachata

    Three-step with a Cuban hip motion, followed by a tap including a hip movement on the 4th beat.

    Bachata is typically known as a very sensual dance to express one’s deepest feelings for the other. The main movement in Bachata is the fluent hip movements, twists and turns. It is very popular with beginners due to its easy footwork and slower, smooth movements.

    Argentine Tango

    More of a spot dance.

    The Argentine Tango is a spontaneous dance, largely improvised on how the dancers interpret the music. It includes movements of walking, turning and pausing. Up close or at arms distance apart, the connection between dancers in Argentine tango is said to be more heart-to-heart, than their feet.

    The Merengue was first discovered in 1800 as a rural folk dance in the Dominican Republic and has since become the national dance of the land.     Quickstep

    Viennese Waltz

    Pair up and move in a circular motion across the dance floor

    The Viennese Waltz is one of the oldest styles of ballroom dances in which the dancers perform the exact same steps. Dancers whirl around in small circles mixed with non-spinning steps to rotate direction in an air of grace and lightness.     Basic Level Program


    The Basic program is a full dancing package for individuals who seek to learn a specific dance style that they would like to master. Your dance instructor will teach you the patterns, timing and techniques required for the specific dance style.


    Bronze Level Program


    The Bronze Level program is for dancers who have mastered the basics of a specific style and wish to feel more comfortable on the dancefloor in social settings. Your instructor will teach you a variety of dance steps to increase your ability to lead and follow.


    Silver Level Program


    The Silver Level program is designed to help you perform the dance steps of your chosen style with more flow and grace, bigger movements and additional twists and turns. You will learn to perfect good technique, balance and partnering skills.


    Gold Level
    Program


    The Gold Level program is the highest level of training for advanced learners. Your instructor will teach you to master difficult dance patterns with ease and balance. This is largely dependent on the foundations you established from the previous levels.
